An instant pot is actually a Canadian brand for a multi-cooker that does the job of various kitchen appliances or tools. It is amongst other a rice cooker, a steamer, a slow cooker, a warming pot, and an electric pressure cooker all one device. So it is very efficient but it has other benefits as well. It saves you time and energy while cooking, so it is definitely a good way to cook meals.
Ingredients:
- 4 skin-on bone-in chicken thighs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped rosemary
Honey Garlic Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons water or chicken broth, preferred
- 3 dashes cayenne pepper
Directions:
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper and set aside.
- Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl until well combined and sugar grains are dissolved.
- Turn your instant pot on saute mode and add oil in it. Place the chicken thighs in oil, skin side down first, and sear until both sides turn nice to nice golden. Then add garlic and saute for 1 minute.
- Stir in the sauce and cover. Set the pot to high pressure for 10 minutes. When it beeps, carefully release the pressure and open the lid. Top with chopped rosemary.
