What is a Sirloin Steak?
Sirloin Steak meat comes from the rear of the cow and has no bones and very little fat. This Beef is skinny, juicy, and relatively tender beef and it is very affordable. If cut thinly, the texture compares to a good Filet Mignon, with a very good taste but without the expensive price tag. You can use it in various ways which will all taste delicious, like in this recipe Spaghetti with Beef.
Tip: The Sirloin Steak does not have much fat or muscle marbling, so it is easily over-cooked. The high temperature for too long will make the meat dry. Prepare it with medium heat or like in this recipe a short period of time on high heat.
Ingredients:
- 12 oz fettuccine
- 1 lb sirloin steaks
- Kosher salt
