When we think of a green smoothie, freshness and healthiness arise in our minds and body. This kale smoothie recipe is so refreshing and filling that it will keep you full and fresh all day long. It is made of kale, pineapple, and banana.

Kale is very high in nutrients and very low in calories, so it is a powerful and delicious vegetable. It is very versatile, you can cook it for one-pot recipes, or in the oven as Kale Chips, or even blend it like here in this Smoothie Recipe.

All of the ingredients are good for your body and filled with iron, potassium, and many more vitamins and minerals. The bitter taste of raw kale is masked by sweet pineapple and banana, making it healthy and delicious all the way.

Ingredients:

● 2 cups kale, stems removed
● 2 cups water
● 2 cups pineapple chunks
● 1 banana
● Juice of 1/2 lime
● 2 tablespoons chia seeds

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy. You can use frozen pineapple and banana if you like your smoothie to be cold.
  2. Pour in 2 glasses and top with some chia seeds. Serve immediately!
