After years of trying to fit into society’s beauty standards, looking good has always been associated with feeling good, like feeling good is connected with looking good.

Taking the phrase to feel good, look good as directly as it defines shows a logical meaning and explanation.

Looking good must not only depict your physical look, but it must also describe your thoughts and emotions from within. 

Meanwhile, feeling good is how you perceive and put thoughts into your way of thinking.

It would be best if you felt calmer and unbothered by external stress whenever you feel good. Feeling good can also influence others around you, motivating a better and lighter mood.

When you feel good about how you look, it takes feeling about out of the entire equation.

After all, who likes to go through the day feeling bad? You can’t put your best foot forward whenever you feel bad about yourself.

You’re too concerned about what other people are thinking of you. Remember that feeling good increases your vibration.

Everything is energy, such as your behaviors, words, emotions, and thoughts.

The higher the vibration, the better you feel and the more appealing you are to good things, experiences, and people.  

When you feel and look good, you take the emphasis off of thinking about yourself, and you’re more ready to smile and be kind to others.

  1. Plan ahead.
    When you plan your weeks, consider what’s coming up that you might like to look better for and plan accordingly. That might be planning a shopping trip or ensuring your clothes are clean.
  2. Tell others they look beautiful. 
    If you’re worried about how you look, most people are also anxious about how they look. Make somebody else feel more confident too. 
  3. Wear something comfortable that makes you feel good.
    Unless you love wearing tight clothes, put them away until you feel great wearing them again. Most people have wardrobes in various sizes. Wear what works with where you are today.
  4. Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself you are stunning.
    The more you love yourself, the easier it is to feel good and look good.

  5. Find pieces in your closet that are no-brainers.
    Do you love how a T-shirt fits? Get it in every color. Have some go-to pieces that you know make you feel great for special events.
  6. It doesn’t matter what others think.
    You won’t even think about what other people think if you feel great on the inside and outside. Always be confident in yourself, and that will show to everybody else. 
  7. Do good things that will help you feel good about yourself. 

If that’s losing weight, be mindful of what you eat and how much you’re moving. Do you need more self-confidence? Try writing affirmations in your journal each day.

Keep in mind that when you feel good and look good, everything else in life becomes a little easier!
